I have had a few and sold all but one. I love the soft leather and pretty colors but to me the leather will show wear and color fade in a few years--many sooner. I hate ugly rubbed corners on leather bags and the dark handles that Bals eventually get.I know a Bal bag is not going to look great in 5 years versus my LV bags which have lasted over 20 years with no wear to the corners and the leather trims/handle, ect. looks good because I baby my bags. Now I only buy LV canvas coated bags and have been happy with them but have no big desire to get the all leather bags because I feel most leather bags are too heavy. I did find the Bal bags very light. I have protected my Bal bags with the loving my bags care products but one stil gets scared to carry them in the rain. I feel if I am spending big money on a bag I want to enjoy it for years to come and I felt the Balenciaga bags could not do it for me. I have a Balenciaga wallet and makeup case and sorry to say they both are not holding up well and my inside of my bags are spotless..... I was initially shocked at the price of such a thin piece of material too...but once I tried it on, it was all over for me as well.It's definitely been useful for me in the cold months, and I also like it due to the fact that it doesn't scream LV unless you look carefully at the logo on the edge.
